Soccer School Competitions

The Soccer Skills Competitions and Unified Team Tournaments are offered in all three counties during the month of April.
Event Information
All events begin at 10:15 a.m. with an Opening Ceremony
Thursday, April 18 at Polytech High School – Kent/Sussex Middle and High Schools (no rain date set)
Tuesday, April 30 at University of Delaware – New Castle Elementary (rain date May 7)
Wednesday, May 1 at Kirkwood Soccer – New Castle Middle and High Schools (rain date May 6)
Thursday, May 2 at DE Turf – Kent/Sussex Elementary (rain date May 10)
Levels of Competition
Motor Activity Training Program: Individually-designed activities for athletes of all ages who are not able to successfully participate in the traditional Individual Skills events.
Young Athletes: Athletes ages Kindergarten through age 7 participate in the Basic Skills events, but do so without competing. Instead each athlete receives a participant medal.

5 v 5 Unified Team competition: Teams of 3 athletes and 2 Unified partners compete in one of two levels of competition: Developmental or Competitive.
History and Facts
- In 2016, more than 1,600 school-age students participated in the soccer skills competitions and team tournaments statewide.
