Widely favored by millions of people as a leisure activity, tennis is a lifetime sport Special Olympics athletes can delight in and benefit from even when not competing in an official Special Olympics competition. Tennis is a spring sport with the skills competition and tournament taking place at Summer Games.

- CLINICS:
- DuPont Country Club will once again host several Saturday clinics on its indoor courts for athletes and coaches. Clinic times are 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on the following dates: January 14 and 28, February 11 and 25, and March 10 and 24. You MUST pre-register for each clinic by contacting Mark Wise at mwise@udel.edu or 302-831-4669.
- Sea Colony in Bethany Beach will host tennis clinics on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. starting February 23. Interested players should contact Mark Wise (mwise@udel.edu) or Marie McIntosh (mariemcintosh522@gmail.com).
- The University of Delaware will host a tennis clinic for all players on Friday, April 27, from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Athletes must pre-register with Mark Wise at mwise@udel.edu or 302-831-4669.
