Figure Skating is SODE's newest sport, with weekly training taking place at the Wilmington Skating Club under the direction of several highly-qualified coaches.

A season-finale exhibition is held at the Wilmington Skating Club.
2011 Training Schedule:
Special Olympics Delaware is pleased to announce its Ice Skating program for the 2011 winter season.
The program is hosted by the Skating Club of Wilmington and practices will take place on consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning on Feb. 16 and ending April 6. Each session is from 7:50-8:50 p.m.
Athletes work individually to attain different badge levels, ranging from 1 to 12.
Badge level requirements: refer to pages 16-28
Athletes must have a current physical on file, need to commit to the entire eight-week program, and a parent/guardian must remain at the rink during the training sessions.
