First offered in the fall of 2008, the sport of Equestrian is SODE's newest sport. Children and adults who participate in area therapeutic riding programs receive weekly lessons in preparation for the Special Olympics event, held in late September at Carousel Park and Equestrian Center.
The Equestrian Event takes place in late September or early October at Carousel Park and Equestrian Center.
