Special Olympics Delaware's overnight sports camp is a three-day, two-night camp - featuring sports training and traditional camp activities - held at Camp Barnes (directions), located near Bethany Beach in southern Delaware. Camp is offered to all registered Special Olympics Delaware athletes.
The camp features opportunities for attendees to enjoy recreational and camp-type activities including swimming, crafts, non-competitive games, fishing, crabbing and canoeing. In addition, campers have a chance to participate in a variety of traditional SODE sports throughout the three days.
