Pre-Event Registration
Unified Partners (adult & youth)
Unified Partners are non-disabled peers who train and compete with Special Olympics Delaware athletes. Unified competition is offered in aquatics, basketball, bowling, cycling, golf, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. The following must be completed to be qualify as a Unified Partner for Special Olympics Delaware events:
- Submit a completed Unified Partner Form prior to the first practice. Unified Partner Forms are valid for three (3) years and do not require a physical
- Attend a Unified Partner Orientation
- Fill out a Volunteer Application, have a successful Background Check (adults only), and complete the Protective Behaviors course
- Submit two (2) letters of reference (Youth Partners only)
Event Registration Forms
- All event Registration Forms are handed in by the Program Director or Head Coach
- Once submitted, the Program Director or Head Coach will receive a Delegation Report, Schedule, and Error/Exception Report (missing or incomplete information)
