This annual Delaware Law Enforcement for Special Olympics event, sponsored by Jack Lingo Realtor and the Delaware State Troopers Association, is played in May at the prestigious Jack Nicklaus signature Bayside Resort Golf Club in Fenwick Island, Del.
Other supporting sponsors include Outback Steakhouse (19th hole sponsor), Smitty McGee's (lunch), Hertrich Family of Dealerships (hole-in-one) and Sharkey's (tournament hat).
Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Bayside Resort Golf Club. Lunch begins at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 12.

The fee to participate is $700 per foursome. Each golfer receives: lunch, golf shirt, hat, golf towel and 19th hole reception.

There were 20 foursomes for a total of 80 golfers who played in the 2010 tournament. To date, the tournament, which raised over $30,000 in 2010, has raised more than $207,000 for Special Olympics Delaware.
