Special Olympics Delaware takes pride in annually acknowledging outstanding contributions and achievements, from individuals as well as businesses and civic organizations, during its ‘Night of Heroes’ celebration.
A signature event for Special Olympics Delaware, ‘Night of Heroes’ honors, among others, the organization’s Outstanding Athlete, Outstanding Program, Outstanding Volunteer, and Hall of Fame honorees. Former keynote speakers for the event have included Baltimore Orioles great Cal Ripken, Jr. and Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro kicker David Akers.
